Amazing new skin
Microneedling is an amazing way to achieve beautiful skin. Just as it is with any reputable skin procedure; there are important instructions that you will need to follow, to get the most out of your skincare treatment. It is important to remember that microneedling creates tiny wounds in the skin. Therefore, patients cannot return to their normal skincare routines right away. Immediately after treatment, patients look as though they have a mild to moderate sunburn. The skin may feel warm and tighter than usual, typically subsiding within a few hours after treatment. Sometimes it can take up to 24-48 hours for the discomfort to dissipate. It is important to treat the skin gently for three days after microneedling, then you may resume your normal skincare routine. Blow is our recommendation for the best microneedling aftercare:
- Keep your skin clean
Use a gentle cleanser and cool water to cleanse your face for 72 hours after-treatment. Gently dry the treated skin, making sure that your hands are clean when touching the treated area. Do not use a powered cleansing brush for at least one week after your treatment.
- Promote healing
With recommended serum antioxidants after treatment. Serum antioxidants help to heal the skin.
- Keep your skin hydrated
After microneedling treatment, your skin may feel drier than normal. A cream with Hyaluronic Acid is an ideal product that can properly hydrate and keep your skin’s moisture levels in perfect balance.
- Go lightly with the makeup
It is best to avoid the use of makeup or 24 to 72 hours after the procedure. In addition, do not apply makeup with a makeup brush.
- Protect yourself from the sun – Every day after the procedure, apply a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB, SPF 25 or greater sunscreen to your skin. As a part of your skincare routine, you will need to protect your skin from sun damage.
Additional Aftercare Precautions
To ensure the proper healing environment, avoid chemical and vitamin scrubs for at least one-week post-treatment. Do not go swimming or in a jacuzzi for at least 72 hours post-treatment. Do not participate in strenuous activity for the first 72 hours post-treatment. Excessive sweating and humid environments are filled with bacteria, which may cause adverse reactions in your skin.
