- Color- a non-cancerous spot is usually only one color, whereas a skin cancer spot is a variety of colors.
- Diameter- check to see if your mole is bigger than a pencil eraser. If it is, have it checked out by your doctor.
- Evolving- a normal mole will stay the same size and shape, but a cancerous mole will change in appearance.
