With the Exceed system, you can deliver smooth, firm, young-looking skin in just 12 weeks. Exceed’s patented 6-needle tilting plate adapts to the skin’s surface and facilitates access to hard to treat areas allowing for safe and even needle penetration. Clinical studies saw 86% of patients showed significant improvement in acne scars, 90% saw improvement in facial wrinkles, and 78% showed improvement in periorbital wrinkles in just 90 days.
What is microneedling?
Microneedling therapy also called collagen induction therapy (CIT) is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure for anti-aging and scar reduction. The treatment is highly effective in reducing or eliminating age spots, fine wrinkles, reducing pore size, stretch marks, and scars with little to no downtime. During this procedure, micro-needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury causing the skin to create new collagen and hyaluronic acid, which helps with tissue repair. The treatment also creates superficial micro-channels allowing topical serums to be absorbed more effectively into the skin. Treatment areas typically include the face, décolleté, or specific scar revision areas. The treatments are typically painless but topical numbing cream can be applied prior to the treatment area to minimize discomfort.
Is there any downtime?
Microneedling provides skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime. Your skin will appear slightly pink to red immediately following treatment and can be coupled with minimal pin-point bleeding and/or bruising. Sensations of puffiness, warmth, and tightness of the skin is also common following the procedure and can last up to 24 hours. Your provider will recommend skincare products for your post-care based in your individual skin to best enhance your overall results.
How many treatments will I need?
Treatments are usually spaced in four-week intervals and can range from 4-6 treatments to achieve the optimal desired results. The number of treatments is dependent upon the severity of the individual skin concern.
